Weekend tennis should be as usual. We had interesting weather, but it looks like cooler and possibly wet weather has officially arrived. We still plan for 7:30a start times for our weekend tennis. This weekend is also a tournament at Laguna Creek Sports Club. My first singles match (3.5) is 8am on Saturday morning. Saturdays we have all our usual players, but I need to know if you plan to come out Sunday, as we have fewer players and I want to make sure you are notified of any changes. There is a tournament at Laguna Creek SC next weekend, and the deadline to register is Sunday night. So if you plan to play, make sure you register now! There is both NTRP and Age divisions.

It's forecast to be hot 🥵 tomorrow, but that won't be until the afternoon. When we start tennis at 7:30a, it's nice an cool out! Let's get our tennis in before it warms up! EGHS just had their homecoming parade, to some floats are parked in the parking lot in front of the tennis shed. Hey Everyone- EGHS Girls Tennis is currently doing our annual fundraiser. We have 31 girls on the team, and a lot of expenses this year. I always appreciate what our EG Tennis Group always contributes not only to fundraisers, but various needs, maintenance, fixes, net repairs (even replacements on occasion!). The days are getting shorter and cooler! Mornings are great for tennis. This is Labor Day weekend. I expect the usual turnout on Saturday. Sunday begins a little later, 7:30a and I expect a few HS girls to come out. Please let me know if you plan to come out on Sunday. A bit worrisome with 100 degree days earlier this week, but the weekend looks good. Saturdays are regular with typically 12-16 players coming out. Tennis as usual Saturday morning starting at 7am. If anyone is interested, I am playing in a tournament in Stockton this weekend. Singles (M60+) at 10am, so my morning tennis will be a warm up. I'll also be playing M60+ Doubles w/Dave Cesar Sunday morning at 8am. Therefore, there will be NO Sunday Tennis. If any of you are interested, the next tournament is the Johnson Ranch Roundup, the weekend of the 17-19. John and I are already registered. If you need the tournament link
